A Two Day Body Detox
Quick detox methods or extended duration cleansing programs can be grueling on your body. You would avoid harsh side effects and potential trauma by exercising a periodic 2-day detox rather than executing long body detox plans a few times yearly.
Perhaps the most moderate way to do a weekend body cleanse is a fruit and vegetable fast. All that you do is eat only fruit and vegetables.
Most of us naturally choose to eat fruit rather than vegetables in the morning, and veggies at lunch and dinner. The most ideal thing to do is eat your vegetables uncooked in a salad, juiced, lightly or cooked in a soup. The total amount of fruits and vegetables that you have during your detox is up to you. One mode of doing your cleanse is to have a piece of fruit every hour in the morning, then have a big vegetable salad at lunch. Then you can have another piece of fruit in the afternoon for a snack, and then steamed vegetables for dinner.
We promise, you won’t be famished with a fruit and vegetable detox. If you do it well, you won’t experience the sensation of deprivation. Purchase some fruits you usually don’t treat yourself to. Build an exuberant salad with a full mixture of vegetables.
A monthly 2 day fruit and vegetable detox can be one part of a long-term, successful weight loss program. Weight loss and detox go hand in hand given that our fat cells grow in their size with the amount of toxic waste they store. Body cleansing has of late been catching on as an effective and healthy component of weight loss.
