Brighton Short Breaks is experiencing its busiest ever week this week with the Brighton Pride week being in full flow. The town has filled to capacity with every boarding house, self catering holiday home and hotel booked weeks in advance. we’re still receiving enquiries after accommodation - but with nothing available peope are being disappointed.Brighton Pride runs for seven days, with a fantastic array of events happening across the city; keep your eye on the whats on page for up to date listings. This is the only guide devoted solely to the event so this is the best source of information about where to be and what to do including the, main event at Preston Park and the Carnival Parade.Pride in Brighton & Hove was delighted to announce the theme for this year’s celebrations in September last year. Following a record number of suggestions from Pride members and the public the Board of Trustees and Staff unanimously voted for the theme ‘Pride Beside The Seaside’ Pride in Brighton & Hove promotes equality and diversity, and advances education to eliminate discrimination against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community. It promotes understanding of these human rights by facilitating and promoting a bevvy of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival. It also uses its own success to promote and financially support other voluntary and charitable organisations..
